Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy sets the rules for using the interactive features of our website: accounts, listings, offers, backorders, messaging, reviews, AI Features, APIs and forms. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breaching it can lead to the measures under the Terms of Service. Additionally, capitalised terms take their meaning from the Terms of Service.

1.The Basic Standard

Use our services lawfully, honestly and without harming others. You are responsible for your account, your content and your transactions, and for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

2.Prohibited Uses

You must not use the services to:

  • break any law or regulation;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
  • deceive, defraud or mislead anyone;
  • harass, threaten or abuse others; or
  • facilitate any of the above by others.

3.Prohibited Content

Do not upload, list, post, message or otherwise share content that:

  • belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
  • is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, or invasive of another’s privacy (including bodily privacy);
  • is insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, or racially or ethnically objectionable;
  • relates to or encourages money laundering or unlawful gambling;
  • is harmful to children;
  • infringes patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
  • deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or is patently false or misleading and shared to mislead or harass;
  • impersonates another person or entity;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of any state, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or incites the commission of an offence; or
  • contains viruses, malware or any code designed to disrupt or limit any system.

4.Marketplace and Domain Conduct

You must not:

  • list or sell a domain you do not own or are not authorised to sell, or that is stolen or was obtained through unauthorised access;
  • register, list, buy or traffic in domains in bad faith targeting another’s trademark (including typo squats and confusingly similar variants of well-known marks);
  • misdescribe a domain, conceal a pending dispute, lien or transfer restriction, or fabricate traffic, revenue or valuation claims;
  • manipulate prices, offers or auctions (including shill bidding, coordinated offers or fake demand);
  • circumvent platform fees on platform-originated introductions;
  • use the services for money laundering, structuring, sanctions evasion, or transactions with prohibited parties or jurisdictions; or
  • knowingly sell or point a domain for use in phishing, malware distribution or other criminal activity.

5.Security and Platform Integrity

You must not:

  • access or attempt to access accounts, systems or data without authorisation;
  • probe, scan or test vulnerabilities;
  • introduce malware or interfere with the services (including DDoS or resource abuse);
  • share, sell or rotate credentials, or create accounts to evade limits or bans; or
  • remove, disable or circumvent technical protection, rate-limiting or labelling measures.

6.Data, Automation and Messaging

You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-export listings, prices, sales data, valuations, availability data or user information (standard search-engine indexing of public pages that honours our robots’ directives is permitted);
  • harvest contact details or send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through or using data from the services;
  • use platform messaging for off-topic marketing, phishing or malware; or
  • republish or resell our data or Outputs as a dataset.

7.AI Misuse and Impersonation

The prohibitions apply in full including generating or evaluating names/domains for phishing, impersonation or typo squatting, model extraction, and scraping Outputs. You must not impersonate the Group, its personnel, brokers or the Escrow Provider, forge our communications or payment instructions, post fake reviews or testimonials, or misrepresent affiliation, verification or “vetted” status.

8.How We Enforce

We apply measures proportionate to the breach, its harm and its recurrence, generally along this ladder though serious cases (fraud, stolen domains, child-safety, security attacks, sanctions issues) go straight to the top:

  1. education or warning;
  2. content or listing removal, or listing pause;
  3. feature restrictions, rate limits or increased verification;
  4. transaction holds, including instructing Escrow Provider holds on in-flight deals;
  5. account suspension;
  6. termination (including repeat infringers); and
  7. referral to registrars, payment partners, regulators or law enforcement, and legal action.

Where we restrict or suspend, we state reasons and offer review and the Grievance Redressal Page, except where law, safety or investigation integrity prevents it. Fees accrued before enforcement remain payable; refunds for unwound transactions follow the Refund Policy.

9.Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes are notified and logged in.
